Just tell them you're not doing it and move on. If a company is asking you to use your free time before you're hired, that's a red flag for their expectations if you do end up being hired.

It would have depended on which part(s) of the White Movement would have been included in the new government. There were a lot of leaders in the movement that had no problem with autocracy as long as it was their autocracy.

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that people just don't care enough about those places. No one cares about Huntsville, AL and most high-profile people would not reside there, so no one hears about any of this bubble behavior
