Those emissions are nothing. Its a drop in the bucket compared with other industrial uses. A 50% reduction would change nothing, reduction to 0 would change nothing.

Most of the stats show it being less productive for the company. But in my opinion its more efficient because the company prod takes a slight hit while the workers life productivity also goes up quite significantly.
