Missing my personal piece of advice: Interested in startups / smaller companies? Easiest thing to do is email / interview with one or two VC firms. I know both a16z and greylock do this, I'm sure others do as well.

Perhaps less popular in this audience, but it hard to find many live streaming sports (legally) without a cable subscription. The Rose Bowl, for example, was on ESPN yesterday and they did not offer a live stream, afaik.

While not being able to comment on 6.001, at Stanford there is an alternative for ``enthusiasts'' called 106X, which is a sort of more intense version of the 106B class and is taught in C++ I believe. Some students skip A/B and just take X.
