I think the multiplayer is very smartly implemented. The big "Anomaly" space stations can feel very busy. I don't feel very alone playing tbh, unless I want to be. MMO raid-like expeditions are right there if I wanna join up

I have a weird personal theory that whittling down the number of app vendors on your phone is just a good thing to do. As a Pixel user, I've gotten my phone to just having four (4) third-party app vendors. - Duolingo (I've never s

I don't know why I've never drawn a line from our current situation to the zaibatsus, that's a great insight.

I completely forgot you could "squirt" songs to other Zune owners. What a time! (Brown launch model here.)

Advertisers get to pretend their ads are being seen. Websites get paid. Users don't see ads. Sounds like a win-win-win?

The blind aspect (I would assume) is meant to cut down on favoritism and discrimination. With the US I understand how that would come about. Whether it succeeds in that goal is a separate topic.

This is an extremely fair judgment. I should not be surprised but it is nice. I will turn down the snark a little more in the future. Sometimes it just sneaks in there. Sneaky snark.

That's true, I meant more by Google themselves. It's their first-party data, the whole set available on-demand, no scraping needed.

I spin a mental roulette on whether the reception on a new release will be "OMG best model by far, no one will be able to catch up for months!" or "OMG this is already outdated, RIP company X, they might as well just give up

What's the current outlook on Antigravity IDE vs. 2.0? How long will they begrudgingly keep it going before kicking everyone to 2.0/3.0? (I actually use a mix of both for some offline projects, nothing serious.)

I had a similar thought but thinking it through, would probably lose the near-zero-lag stylus stuff. That's kinda rM's whole thing, not ebook reading.

Yeah, whatever small amount of Koolaid I was excited to drink went out the window when they ditched the charity angle. A broken clock's right twice a day and Musk is right about that.

It made sense for Facebook and Amazon back in the day, too. And they were some of the most laughed-at phones in tech for a long while. But I guess "the ChaCha" probably was never going to take the world by storm...
