This is very interesting! JavaScript sky rocketing makes the most sense as more and more companies are keen to delve into the Node.js world. Not surprised at all to see EC2 falling, the only slight surprise would be Rails falling.

This looks interesting and could potentially be very useful for understanding how a Backbone application runs behind the scenes. I will give it a go once GitHub is back up again as it seems to be playing up.

I do not understand why GitHub get attacked so often - honestly it's not like they are doing anything wrong, they are a fabulous service and the go-to place for most (if not all) developers for all sorts of projects, be it open source
