Elon is Tesla. He owns 10-15% of it and the last vote for his trillion payout thing shows what this means. And there has never been a person like Elon, interfering in german election, USA election etc. and being the posterchild for companie

A rock is not a consumer good, so no. And a rock is unique, nice to look at, did not cost you anything and kind of an appreciation of nature. Enjoy your rock! (i'm sincere)

You are not a recovering audiophile at all, you are still fully in that rabbithole. Instead of enjoying music you ramble about your neighbor shaking and isolation etc. You also didn't pivoted into preservation, it just happened because

The cover might gotten the relevant input from the band but the vinyl itself has only a handful of options and plenty of them are just black. But come on do you listen to music of a band becase they are great in taking pictures? Or because

No we don't. We should stop fantasizing about CDs and Vinyl and shit and just enjoying listen to music. And if we think we need tokens in the real world, make them yourself or buy that one vinyl.

So you go to work, earn money, then you buy yourself some object to put it in a shelf? And thats basically it? You are not even playing it? To do what with it? Letting your kids/family sell your collection with a loss? Is it background

Talking about FSD has increased, nothing more. There is still the law suite about FSD and the old hardware. There is still Elon the hitler Musk Oligarch who wielded a chainsaw. There were plenty of FSD videos last year and the year before s

Gaming should be a no brainer. Windows dual boot and license is cheap enough. Windows for gaming, Ubuntu as desktop default, Arch Linux on Laptop, MacOS on the other Laptop. Games are not the problem, but that one game i want to play on a s

I don't believe the West can sustain its lead. The US became rich by being the worlds manufacturing powerhouse in 1900. Over time, they grew comfortable, developed a massive upper class, and pivoted toward service and 'knowledge&#

Apparently we all have enough money to put it into OpenAI. Some players have to play, like google, some players want to play like USA vs. China. Besides that, chatting with an LLM is very very convincing. Normal non technical people can see

Because OpenAI stands for AI leader. If Gemini can create or edit an image, chatgpt needs to be able to do this too. Who wants to copy&paste prompts between ai agents? Also if you want to have more semantics, you add image, video and au

You always have this problem thats why you have a release process for apis. And monorepo or not, bad software developers will always run into this issue. Most software will not have 'many teams'. Most software is written by a lot

I assumed your post was more generic and not specific about LLMs or AI. Generally speaking, while the disucssions are 'better', they are not good. The comments themselves seldom add real value, discussions are not held with source

I would argue that Tesla didn't lose its way, it used it way to get were they are and now you see the deficits of it. They started without all the legacy and worries. Like existing suppliers, existing things, existing image. Fresh mark

Honestly, i know a few Tesla users and at least for them their Tesla is more than just a car. Its like a gimmick. Driving to tesla meetups, adding certain accessories for led light stuff, its (sry to say) just weird. I get the basic idea of
