Oh man, I miss BeOS. It was one of the two OS's I'd bought back in the day. The other was OpenBSD 3 iirc I have the CD around here somewhere, too.

This is why amazes me. At my home we blow through on average 25 GB a day in gaming, streaming video, other downloads etc. limits like these are terrible. 80 a month? Wtf?!

I dislike them all, except for someone else's comment above about comment reply notifications - which doesn't even have to be active, just a number next to your username at the top when reloading a page.

Speech != voice. One can definitely train to speak better with coaching, but your voice and most specifically your voice “ID” is unique to you. That can’t be changed.

Believe it or not, a lot of people still use local tv/news for entertainment or information (of local news). (Near) realtime would be important for emergencies, as rare as they are.

iirc, you can set the orientation in the Watch settings. The OS and software should adjust.

You need proper blackout curtains where the fabric is in direct contact with the framing of the window. Typically curtains have a lot of space between the fabric and the frame/glass so you'll get a lot of light coming in.

Could have been a number of things - most likely culprit I've seen is that it was left exposed to the internet, ssh most likely, and the default password wasn't changed.

Being conservative has nothing to do with it. The area of NY I live in right now is extremely conservative and there are dozens of solar panel installations from Apex Solar on homes and businesses.

iOS has supported keyboards for a very long time. right back to when they first sold their 30-pin to USB "camera" adapter. You could definitely plug in a keyboard and use it.
