I assume by sanction OP means you can’t do business with TikTok which means TikTok won’t have any ads to show for these people and make no money from it. Pretty sure they’ll stop supporting US market when that happens.

What’s happening is teams will prioritize and prefer only VSCode. So while technically you can, may be, get Jetbrains to work, it’ll be subpar. After a while you just give up and switch to what everyone in the team uses. It’s already happen

Add aliases to your gitconfig. Not gonna solve the frustration but at least it doesn’t have to be a trigger (oops). Also, I much prefer trunk over main/master anyway so I just went back to that.
