   Would it be possible to assign swap to a removable media device and then bootstrap the installer to run in that environment on a device with 128mb?

   I'm willing to bet that jshack just lost his job today and isn't thinking quite clearly. I can't think of a reason why a company would let you go without an exit interview though, that's rather unprofessional.

   I believe McGlockenshire was describing a relation (correlation) that very much so does exist (both openssl and the website are old & crusty) and that McGlockenshire does not mean to imply that the OpenSSL would become a better library
