Worth it if you need to use a cross-platform desktop framework and don't like java. C++ is most definitely harder to use than many (newer, thus) more modern languages but you will be rewarded by the niceness of Qt.

Yeah, PlantUML is really an awesome tool. Also has an online editor: http://www.planttext.com/planttext Not the greatest samples on there though - better resources on http://plantuml.com/ .

I also like the idea. Would be cool if it could work naturally with pointer lock - annoying to have to reset pointer position manually :)
