   Not a hill I am going to die on, but I really don't support this movement of politicizing science, nor to take these scientists out of their time context and measure them and their legacy according to recent insights and sensibilities.

   Survivorship bias applies when the survivors are visible and the losers are not, but this thread is full of losers, projecting their loss on everyone that survived and deeming these dumb luck anomalies. Since it was very hard to lose money
