SL has a couple full time employees building it. Also, they publish a lot of info about their build process. Centos doesn't. Sometime their releases are slower.

I think you can layer data on top of tiles from osm with the openlayers api without licensing issues.

about 54 TB. But only about 2% of tiles have ever been seen. Each zoom level has 4 times as many tiles as the previous level and zoom level 18 (the highest) doesnt have a lot of data.

In Tampa FL with optimal tilt and no shade a panel rated at 1 peak watt would generate 5.3 watts a day X 30.4 days a month * 4500w panels = 725 Kw per month

Its not all about you. There are a lot of reasons you could have been rejected. Its difficult to say what went wrong. You need to try this ten more times. If you get rejected all ten times try modifying your approach.

Whats the big deal, its not like you have flash on these things anyway. The only decent site you can get content from is Itunes. 2G of Itunes product is a lot of $. A little extra for the bandwidth is no big deal.

One reason Texas avoided the housing bubble is the property taxes are very high here. The tax rate is 4.5-5% of value. In California its 1%. Also, interest rates are lower in California, a foreclosure can happen in as little as 120 days

cost of living has nothing to do with attracting manufacturing jobs. The lower the labor costs the more jobs you get. Same reason China has more manufacturing that California
