- mubhij 12y agoWell for every ipod there are thousands of products that fail. Anyways, nobody is saying that it will not be big. Just that this is not super-ground breaking technology that it is going to create its own market. Virtual reality has, of course, a large number of possible uses. Who knows what will work and what won't. But I do not see myself using a search engine on it or surfing the web or checking my email. Browsers would be great, don't get me wrong, but it's very likely that what we will do on the VR browsers will be a small selection of what we do online. Virtual reality stores may become big and creating 3d versions of products would be a whole new thing but most of these things may be more app-based or will be shared.
