I've been interested in real ActiveRecord support for Postgres hstore, in a way that can do partial updates -- if only one key/value has changed, on save an update would be sent to postgres for only that key/value. This matters for concurrency issues where multiple clients may be accessing postgres and modifying the same values. Does anyone know if anyone has been working on that at all?
