For 800+ FICO scores, you'll need 3 types of debt.
1) Installment Debt - i.e. a car loan
2) Mortgage Debt - mortgage loan
3) Revolving debt - credit cards, with balance under 50% of CC limit
and of course...no late payments on any of them.
- beardicus 12y agoAnecdotally, this is untrue. I've had 800+ with just a credit card and an overdraft line of credit.
