What a stupid, facile thing to say. Should we call authors leeches and sue them for profiting from the common linguistic heritage of humanity?
Do you come on to Hacker News just to derail conversations with garbage like that?
- scotty79 13y agoOnly if they dictate what readers are allowed to do with their books (how many times they can read it, in what setting, can they lend a book to a friend, can they give it to their children and such), books that were written by copying Shakespeare's works but changing few words to make it more awesome.
