I use a Lamy Al-Star with a fine nib fitted. I find the choice of ink much more important though, some of the inks I've used feather a lot and others dry too slowly which isn't great for someone left handed.
The best ink that I have found is Noodler's, its cheap, comes in fairly large bottles, and has an amazing range of colours.
