- jfengel 15d agoOK. And now you've spent that notoriety. What now? It's clear that the US attack did not cause regime change. It may have delayed Iran's nuclear ambitions again, but they will presumably restart immediately after the attack ends. And you won't be able to get a second round. So I mean this sincerely: did it accomplish what you needed? It's widely portrayed by your opponents as a distraction, but that doesn't sound right; it cost too much (of your political capital) and will be too temporary. Are there ends that I'm missing, in that view, was it a success or a failure?
