It's a tired reasoning that we have to read every time this comes up. China has been publicly doing what you say they won't if we only just let them buy asml. They've been doing it in 5 year Plans (tm) for decades now. You guys need to stop coming to in the middle of the episode and start chittering.
- xingped 27d agoYeah, it's a weird comment you see repeated too often that must be serving some agenda, but I don't know what. China's already moving towards chip independence as fast as they can. Nothing the rest of the world does or doesn't do will change that.
