With the I-5 construction an hour is 100% believable.
Just did a quick check and the Shoreline Costco to Pike Place at 9 on a Tuesday morning is 35m-65m according to Google Maps.
- j_rosenberg 29d agoThere is plenty of alternative routes, I-5 is a dumb route to take because everyone thinks the same way, you could take aurora avenue, or cross the bridge from ballard, or even the other one close to UW. Google Maps is also wrong all the time btw.
- ewb 29d agoHave you been doing the commute lately? All the routes are bad, it’s just a question of bad or worse. I have to make the drive sometimes and it typically takes 40 min or so just to north Seattle.
