I remember hearing about "Pinnocchio soulslike" and just couldn't imagine how that'd work. Now it's one of my favourites - especially with the expansion.
- geophph 4mo agoAgreed Overture was fantastic! Looking forward to the sequel. And yeah, you’re right it’s wayyy darker ha.
- dugidugout 4mo agoI personally could not stomach the clocktower. I may just be bad at platforming, but the stage felt jarringly frustrating compared to the pleasant frustration I was having with the rest of the games challenges. After my 10th or so time getting blasted by a fireball while inching across a beam, I made my peace. It is a shame because I very much enjoyed the premise and world otherwise.
- pawelduda 4mo agoAbout every soulslike has to have this one anxiety-inducing platforming section. I saw a lot of players complain about this particular part but IMO it's wasn't the most frustrating one:D
