GPT-5.5 is generally available for GitHub Copilot
- nftdude2024 5mo agowill take a look
- DominikPeters 5mo agoIt's interesting that the API token cost of GPT-5.5 is double the cost of GPT-5.4, but Copilot charges a 7.5x multiplier and gates the model in premium plans. Clearly, they severely underpriced previous models like GPT-5.4 which they sell at $0.04 per request -- and these models can of course work for 30+ minutes in response to a single request and incur costs of several dollars.
- hendersoon 5mo agoAs of this week, the "request" gravy train is over. Github copilot now meters tokens not requests.

- pengfeituan 5mo agowhy don't we go to chatgpt plans direct? GPT-5.5 is about 2x over GPT-5.4 there.
- GaryBluto 5mo agoWorse service for over double the price. By Grabthar's hammer... what a savings.
