It took me about five years to get Revolut to return to me the funds in an account I could no longer access (Revolut overnight upped the Android requirement for their app, so I could no longer access), where they had no mechanism by which to regain access.
In the end I managed it by issuing a GDPR. Revolut's GDPR staff were able to finally shut the account, and send me the funds, so I got them back.

- shock 6mo agoIt should. They cut off access to my account without warning, because they say GOS doesn't meet their security requirements. Read all the GPlay reviews from people on GOS who were cut off without notice.
- casenmgreen 6mo agoThey're not a bank. None of the FinTechs are. Different culture. They don't understand accounts must always work.
- jaffa2 6mo agoThe only way to interact with the account is via a specific variant of an android app ?
- casenmgreen 6mo agoI don't understand the question. Perhaps if I describe the problem a bit more - I had the app, the app worked, the app was updated, and by being updated, needed a later version of Android (5.0). I was running 4.4, and so could no longer run the app, and as such lost access to my account.
- Account_Removed 6mo agoThey have had a web app for the last 5 years. It works, you don't need a mobile app. https://www.revolut.com/blog/post/introducing-the-revolut-web-app/ https://www.revolut.com/blog/post/introducing-the-revolut-we...
- shock 6mo agoYou cannot log in without the mobile app.
