Do you mean it's just not enforced? https://vimeo.com/help/faq/pro https://vimeo.com/help/faq/pro Vimeo Plus is intended for individuals who want more features than a Basic (free) account, however Vimeo Plus users may not upload videos that are commercial in nature, or that are intended to sell or promote a product or service.
- JoshLedgard 14y agoOptional for the post content. You can produce the content and have it hosted on Youtube for well under the $200... which was the point of the tip. Yes, in our case, we also pay Vimeo for video hosting so we can further customize the experience.
- _k 14y agoCommercial use is ok if you're a pro user or "You are a small-scale independent production company, non-profit, or artist, in which case you may use the Vimeo Service to showcase or promote your own creative works."
- nitrogen 14y agoI'm not sure, but "independent production company" might refer to stage production.
