Because security through obscurity is a 19th century maxim which is objectively ineffective at guarding secrets?
- jqpabc123 9mo agoThe security can remain exactly the same --- only the location is being obscured. Why make it easier to find when there is no need to do so? Ever hear of "steganography"?
- DetectDefect 9mo agoBecause that is not how adversarial activity has ever worked, or ever will work, but unfortunately it is how most people - who are irrational, unprepared and lacking a threat model - think it works.
