Why are you relying on fancy autocorrect to "confirm" anything? If anything, ask it how to confirm it yourself.
- gs17 11mo agoEspecially when it's just a base64 decode directly piped into bash.
- wizzwizz4 11mo agoEspecially when ChatGPT didn't get it right: the temp file is /tmp/pjKmMUFEYv8AlfKR, not /tmp/lRghl71wClxAGs. (I'd be inclined to give ChatGPT the benefit of the doubt, assuming the site randomly-generated a new filename on each refresh and OP just didn't know that, if these strings were the same length. But they're not, leading me to believe that ChatGPT substituted one for the other.)

- account42 11mo agoIt is interesting how many people will just go "I asked ChatGPT and here is what it said". Like do they not realized that either they wasted my time or just managed to replace themselves entirely. What value do you bring if you're just a crappy interface to a crappy tool that I could just use myself if I wanted.
- userbinator 11mo agoI found that amusing too; especially upon reaching the end where it talks about using AI for spam and phishing.
