  I did. 450, according to CNN, no sources cited, and no reference to how many died of hunger before the war. One thing I did not expect on this board is innumeracy.

    That's presumably the Palestinian Ministry of Health. But, obviously, there's no reliable source in a war zone, and starving people often don't die directly from hunger, but from disease after being weakened. Most statistics about deaths from famines are estimates after the fact.
