if it's any consolation, decisions like these (normally) have a very long lead time measured in years. now, these are not normal times, but even so I'd be more concerned about NIST decisions coming out nearer to the end of this administration rather than just now at the beginning.

- immibis 2y agoJust yesterday I read someone say that post-quantum cryptography is woke. Not sarcastically. Someone actually believes that post-quantum cryptography is woke, because it's something academics dreamed up and then told everyone they should be using. They view it the same way as DEI.
