At this point Mozilla is a political organization masquerading as a web browser.

  It's just business --- not politics. Simply follow the money and it all becomes much clearer. For over a decade, Mozilla has been a defacto Google subsidiary --- subversively supporting their goals as needed. All the while pretending to be a promoter of a "free" internet but actually achieving little in this regard --- just the way Google wants it.
