- barrkel 14y agoI'm using v5.623. With the lite install and classic skin, there's almost no difference (for my use cases).
- StavrosK 14y agoSame here. I don't think there's any difference for any use case, it's pretty much the same player. I do remove all the bloatware, though.
- iamben 14y agoYeah, same here. Used it everyday from the late 90s until I moved to Spotify (and then not at all when I moved to Macs last year). The classic player was/is such a wonderfully designed piece of software. Just minimise it and stick it to the top of the screen. Uncomplicated, unobtrusive.
- huhtenberg 14y ago2.95 here, released Jun 2003. That's one lasting piece of software, I can't readily think of any non-system software that is this old and still perfectly usable.
- brass9 14y agoSame here. Had been using 2.95 till a few months ago. Upgraded to 5.6. 5.x is not so bad.
