  I switched from proton to Fastmail and have been much happier with Fastmail. Proton seems to do a lot of things ok, but nothing well. I didn’t need a full g suite replacement, just mail. And the mail constantly had small annoying issues that went unfixed. Fastmail is just mail just works(for me).

  While ProtonMail is great, many companies block any incoming emails from protonmail. One of them is my bank & insurance company. It's very frustrating. Both use the Trend Micro firewall.
