A fad that set back the industry by a decade.
- trynumber9 2y agoNot sure on that, it made some of the SQL solutions innovate quite a bit.
- forgotmyinfo 2y agoWhat did relational databases need from all the document DBs du jour? Broken transactions? Lack of ACID guarantees? Devil-may-care schemas?
- rsanek 2y agoyep, the last one -- Postgres' support for json / jsonb is way better now.
