One thing I’ve learned in all my years is that it’s ok to not be a zealot. You don’t need to pick a side. We should look at these things on a case by case basis. Sweeping dismissal of an approach discards the reasons behind such actions. SSPL is probably good for some companies that are trying to survive against cloud behemoths. It’s also bad when some companies want to take advantage of their contributors.

There is value in agreeing on definitions, and knowing a common set of rights you have with all Open Source licenses.
