Same here, as if an unsolicited SMS with attachments will be effective. I also unsubscribed a while back after reading about issues similar to what's mentioned in other comments here.

    Wow here in Europe it's the opposite. Every sms I get is either spam, 2FA or some provider notification. I literally get no personal messages via SMS anymore and I haven't for years.

Pretty sure SMS is pretty expensive fines per message in the US especially if there’s no unsubscribe feature, let alone one that doesn’t work.
