Had no idea nokia was still in business. I thought they were bought out years ago.
US demand shrinks? Growth uncertain? Did nokia carve out a niche in the US market because I haven't seen a nokia phone or any nokia product in ages.

- Unfrozen0688 3y agoThis is not the consumer smartphone business. Nokia makes cellular network equipment. HMD Global designs and markets smartphones with the Nokia brand. :)
- wil421 3y agoYes they make gear for telcos. Nokia is huge in the ISP space.
- bluedino 3y agoThey (along with Ericsson) make all the stuff that Huawei does, but it's not banned because it's not Chinese.
- hiAndrewQuinn 3y agoAnd if I ever get my claws into them they'll eventually be able to compete on price, too. Just a matter of time.
