Why is the recovery email forced? Cant this be an option if the user wants to have one saved when signing up?
- protonmail 3y agoRecovery email is not forced, it's optional.
- pepa65 3y agoFor signup it seems a non-disposable recovery email or a phone number is required. After signup you can remove those (and add other ways to recover if you wish).
