- sgt 3y agoSynology's web desktop is really slick. Is there an open source web desktop environment that comes close? I've seen os.js etc but that looks a bit dated now. The React ones for Win11 are a bit immature still.
- DustinBrett 3y agoI'd like to think my project daedalOS comes close and is fully functional as far as desktop environments in the browser go. Feel free to check it out. https://github.com/DustinBrett/daedalOS https://github.com/DustinBrett/daedalOS
- sgt 3y agoMost impressive one I've seen so far. It even works on mobile which is unheard of for most web based desktop environments.

- vkazanov 3y agoIt does work amazingly well. I expected the typical Linux/unix ui for simple stuff, console for configuration kind of setup with my NAS. Turns out things just work ALL THE TIME. I don't remember even having to tweak stuff. It just works.
- ric2b 3y agoQNAP does the same, also works pretty well.
