I am not sure I understand this. I have a S22 Galaxy Ultra. I do not see anywhere in my settings to turn on or off wifi-calling. Did we already get an update disabling this? I have googled this for about 10-15 minutes now and none of the results match anything to do with my screen settings.
- Laremere 3y agoPixel 7 Pro with Google Fi here: I couldn't find it in settings, but I found a setting in the Fi app to turn off.
- 97s 3y agoAh excellent. It was under the Fi App. I am not sure I am even going to be able to get calls without wifi calling on. Kind of a nightmare. Thanks for your help.
- rr808 3y agoI have a Pixel 7, when I open settings and search for wifi calling it comes up easy with an on/off switch.
- mayama 3y agoIs wifi calling even supported in your phone? Some carriers disable it.
- mfkp 3y agoFYI if you bought your S22 Ultra in the US, it probably isn't necessary. Only the European models were shipped with the Exynos chipset and would be vulnerable. The US version was shipped with a Qualcomm chipset, so it shouldn't be an issue. (This is what I recall on the top of my head though, so you might want to double check this info)
- jve 3y agoI have nopro S22 and: Settings -> Connections -> Mobile networks (I may have mistranslated something) -> There is a toggle for sim1 VoLTE calls Wifi calling is under Settings -> Connections, second item, just under wifi networks
- izacus 3y agoThe availability of this toggle is carrier dependant. Also S22 Ultra has already been patched.
- 97s 3y agoAwesome. I didn't know this! Thanks.
