- plonk 4y agoYou got downvoted unfairly, asking for sources is totally normal.
- sbuk 4y agoThis has been long established. marcan_42 has repeatedly posted about this here, on twitter and reddit to name a few locations.
- chris_wot 4y agoIt might be "long established" but plenty of people didn't know this, including me.

- ddingus 4y agoSometimes it's good to ask. One may get additional context that way. And if that happens, it's a good thing.
- chris_wot 4y agoHi, this is HN. It's perfectly reasonable to ask for sources. There isn't any need to be so hostile.
- sbuk 4y agoDepends on the context. The OP, IMO, was being passive-aggressive, almost incredulous. As I said, every time anything comes up about Asahi, it is guaranteed that at least two threads will occur. This and comment about the vTuber. At this point - 2 years after the project began - it adds little value to the conversation, to the extent that the project lead, who was previously very active here, doesn’t contribute anymore.
- spoils19 4y agoCommenting on the fairness of votes is against the HN commenting guidelines.
