  Great director, not a great person. He hates everyone and everything. I have never heard him say anything positive.

  I love Miyazaki's work but sorry, it's a no from me. His point makes zero sense and he clearly can't understand the greatness behind this. Totally destroyed the other man's excitement with an invalid argument and for no reason at all. I feel sorry for the developer, sadly he showed this to the wrong person.

  This is not his thoughts on AI, or even on anything at all. This is mostly just him browbeating someone. They show him a computer model of a human body, which an ML model has learned to control. The ML model sometimes uses the head as an extra leg, and apparently that triggered him because it reminded him of his disabled friend or something. The one sentence "humans have lost faith in themselves" in the end is closet part to any kind of meaningful commentary.
