At ppt concentrations in seawater, it doesn't seem worth it. PFOS remediation is for contaminated soil or industrial wastewater.

- mellavora 4y agoThere was a concern that the hydrogen bomb would do that. Probably just a scare story.
- namibj 4y agoIt was briefly considered, then numbers run, and promptly determined that it wouldn't be possible (IIRC did to x-ray losses).
