- verdverm 4y agoMost of the time, my usual editor, because if you really want to cut those costs, you have to put work into the code Reconfiguring servers will only take you a small part of the way. You have to understand where your costs are coming from and why. Then it's really about understanding your own system and business needs
- kamrani 4y agoYup, but you need visibility, specially with categorisation (based on tags, environments, applications), trends and predictions. Without this it's a tedious, suboptimal job.
- verdverm 4y agoTrue, and you get that with Google Cloud billing out of the box, just need to label the more granular things. This is how you decide what, and if, to optimize. I would hope the other providers provide query capability in their billing portals.
