  Unfortunately its a bit unstable. I used to run raspotify and it always crashed due to some network issue or session timeout or whatnot and then wouldn't recover until the service was restarted. I'm glad it exists, but it cannot be relied upon. Maybe in a year or so.

    Can confirm this. This is also one of the reasons why I moved to librespot-java.

    I've been running Raspotify on a Raspberry Pi Zero W for nearly a year. And I've had to restart the service 4 times; mildly annoying. It might be a good idea to make a cron job that restarts the service every night.
