- ralphc 4y agoI'm just a regular gmail user, with files in google drive and occasionally look at sheets and docs, I don't pay for any of it. What does this mean for people like me, am I a "Legacy G Suite" user?
- glaucon 4y agoI would like to know this too, I'd never heard the phrase "Legacy G Suite" until this issue began to be discussed and then I started wondering whether GMail + a few files + occasional use of sheets/docs was that ?
- tass 4y agoIf your email address is something @gmail.com you are very unlikely to be a legacy gsuite user
- lovelearning 4y agoPretty sure it doesn't apply to you. "G Suite" was an office suite for businesses. Started more than a decade ago. Supported @company.com email addresses, an administrator account to manage up to 10 other company accounts, some access control settings, paid plans for more storage, and so on. They renamed it to "Google Workspace" recently and those who had signed up when it was "G Suite" became legacy G Suite users. I have both regular gmail accounts and a "G Suite" domain. Everybody gets the same Gmail, Drive, Docs, etc. "G Suite" accounts just see a few different settings and permissions.

- op00to 4y ago"Something went wrong, this offer is no longer available." Ugh, screw you Google.
- jamalli 4y agoThe same here
- ano88888 4y agosame here. But we have close to 800 users. I think they probably limit by number of users you have.

- gadders 4y agoYou have to vouch that it is for personal/family use. Not sure if they will let that through for 800 users.
- hughsaunders 4y agoHow big is your family??
- ProfessorLayton 4y agoWorked for me. Thank you for posting this!
- multjoy 4y agoNot only did it work, the 'new' legacy G suite seems to have retained the exchange sync method for push email.
- ano88888 4y agopreviously , it said 1 June as the final date. The page is now saying 27 June. Frustrating.
- AviationAtom 4y agoGoogle as a company is on the decline
- ArtWomb 4y agoThanks for the reminder ;)
- hughsaunders 4y agoYES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES I've been waiting for this, worked, thanks!
