Didn't OS X not have restore from trash until recently(even after gnome)?

  But OS X did have the consolidation of file transfer dialog boxes for a long time. (Although it still has woeful conflict resolution http://cl.ly/9Zqg http://cl.ly/9Zqg)

      Lion does not let you skip files that you don't want copied, if they already exist. Which is a ridiculous choice, and one that is very hard to work around.
