I used to only use textmate because eclipse/adt was soooo slow. Since adt 12 is out and i have a brand new iMac eclipse is working just fine for me now. That said i still use ant to manually compile my releases.

Slow? What kind of hardware are you running it on? For me everything eclipse does is instant.
