I think monetization has pushed almost everything to video. I miss the old days when people would actually write up how to do things.
- krapp 5y agoI think that's less about monetization and more about barriers to entry. Everyone has a cellphone that takes video now, in many cases it's easier to publish video to the web than it is to write an article.
- account42 5y agoIt's also about Google massively priortizing video results in their search engine.
