- gavanwilhite 5y agoThis is impressive and fun! I can tell a ton of work went into this.
- alphachloride 5y agoI like the design. The issue always is consistency across platforms: a fun expression on one system may come across as smug or insincere in another. I wonder how much use is the rationale they cite before they design the emojis, and how much is it posturing after the fact. For example, was the imperfection of man a design principle when they decided to do away with a geometric circle? Are pronounced eyebrow expressions already not the norm in emojis? Was the focus on trust in uplifting an inspiring designs a motivating factor for choosing bright saturated colors? I ask all of this because I am not literate in professional design principles. What do designers or artistically minded folk think of the article?
