Ten years ago I thought there would be a cultural shift towards wearable spy technology. Now I wonder if there will be a shift towards developing anonymous masks worn as part of a cultural norm.

- BurningFrog 7y agoHonestly, wearing a mask in public is really creepy. I'm sure I'm far from alone in assuming you're out to commit violent crime.
- servercobra 7y agoFor us, sure. But look at Hong Kong right now. When everyone is aware of and agrees there is a risk, it becomes more socially acceptable.

- philippoi 7y agoIt's illegal in Denmark to have your face covered. There are a few exceptions, but I don't think "I don't want my face identified" would fly. - OrgNet 7y agosoon, masks won't be enough... they will have x-ray-like methods to see you naked at all times (like they already have at airports). Who is going to wear a mask 24/7 anyways?
