  Hmm. I don't like Twitter-the-website (the site is rather heavy and annoying to use on both mobile and desktop), so I do like a summary copy somewhere else, but indeed the author added very little of their own thoughts or additional sources or anything to supplement the content. The blog is also a lot shorter than the twitter thread, summarizing the issue, and it mentions the source. I'm not sure whether I'm in favor of changing the link.

  Indeed. OP should have linked to the tweet instead as his blog post is not adding anything.

    I added a link to a list of alternatives for Google services. I wanted to link to it, but then forgot to actually do it.
